Brendan Dowling

Brendan is a 22-year-old Mathematics student at the University of Nevada, Reno. Brendan is a passionate and hardworking student who enjoys exploring the practical applications of advanced math. He has consistently demonstrated himself to be an exceptional student, earning straight-As throughout both high school and college.

Upon graduating from UNR this coming spring, Brendan hopes to teach math at a local high school while completing his Master's Degree. His ultimate goal is to obtain his doctorate in a statistics-related field and teach at a university. In his free time, Brendan enjoys watching sports and spending time in the outdoors. He competed in track and field from elementary school through his first three years of college, and he still trains and competes in races outside of school. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Brendan has spent many hours tutoring other students. He is able to explain complex subjects in several ways in order to cater to a variety of learning styles, and he takes pride in his ability to help students achieve their academic goals. He tutors in many levels of mathematics ranging from middle school to college, and is excited to share his passion for the subject with others.
